An expert chandler will guide you in hand-crafting a 12 oz scented candle! All ingredients, equipment and materials are provided in our Las Vegas based candle making event. No experience is necessary as the instructor will guide you every step of the way!

The Speakeasy Candle Co. candle making events are currently only available on the weekends (Friday - Sunday). Choose your party size & then click Schedule Your Time below to view our calendar. For private events, please use the inquiry link on the Contact page to see if your preferred date is available.
Workshop Types
Candle Making Workshop - $60:
Craft your own 12 oz scented candle at our speakeasy style venue. For guests aged 21+, this workshop is paired with complimentary pours of house bubbly (Champagne, Prosecco, or Rosé).
Candles & Cocktails Workshop - $85:
We ditch the bubbly and bring in a bartender for this workshop! Each guest is served 2 drinks from a curated menu of 3 craft cocktails. ID needed at check-in as this workshop is only for guests 21+.

We do our very best to accommodate request like this but it is not guranteed. Give us a call or email events@speakeasycandleco.com to coordinate seating for party sizes over 8.
At this time, we do not have a waitlist. Currently, guests do not give enough notice of party size changes or plans that alter their availability. We usually find out at check-in that guests have changes. We do hope to offer seats to a waitlist in the future!
Group reservations are for large parties looking to book a reservation at a pre-scheduled workshop. (View our calendar by scrolling up and clicking “schedule your time”) You can book groups directly on our website for your preferred party size. Our site is live and availability does change daily. If your group is booking under separate transactions, shoot us an email. We try to ensure your group has seating close to one another but it is not guaranteed.
Private event reservations are for parties who are interested in creating a custom experience for only their guest-list (minimum headcount is 18). With a private reservation, you can bring in personal decor items, host team-building activities, and add on additional features such as small bites and beverages. Reservations are available Thursday - Sunday (additional fees apply during peak hours, such as weekend reservation requests) . A non refundable 50% deposit is required to confirm a private reservation. The final balance is due 7 days prior to the event date.

Our Signature candle making workshop is intended for adults as it's paired with serving alcohol and involves handling wax at high temperatures. While creating an adult friendly atmosphere is our priority, kids aged 12-15 may register with a guardian and guests 16+ are welcome to register without a guardian.
Our Candles and Cocktails workshop is a 21+ only event. Guest will not be permitted entry without valid ID.
Only guests 21+ are allowed to make and/or partake in alcohol consumption.
No, we do not allow outside food nor do we serve food. Our workshop experience is usually only 1-1.5 hrs, please plan to eat before or after your reservation with us!
We get it, things happen and you run late from time to time. But we do not allow entry 15 minutes past the booking time. We kindly ask guests to arrive at least 10 minutes prior for registration and priority seating near your guests.
Classes typically runs up to 1.5 hours.
The candles you make in class will cure overnight and are ready to be picked up 72hrs later. We will babysit your candles for 7 days following your assigned pick-up date, so please make arrangements to pick up before then!
At the time of pick up you will also receive candle care instructions to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable candle experience. Burn responsibly my friends 🕯
Great question! We have a couple of options noted below.
If your class is booked for a Friday or Saturday, we can arrange an early pick up for Sunday after 2pm! If your class is on Sunday, we do not offer early pick-up.
We also offer shipping. At check-in, we'd collect payment for shipping fees and your preferred shipping address. Easy Peasy!
At this time, we do not offer refunds. Our speakeasy is extremely intimate with limited space, we encourage all guests to make reservations that best fit their availability. We appreciate your understanding.
We are happy to reschedule or offer a 100% store credit if your request is more than 7 days prior to your booking.
For cancellation requests received 3-7 days prior to booking date, we only offer a 100% store credit (no reschedules, no refunds).
For cancellations made less than 3 days prior to your booking date, we do not offer reschedules or refunds. We only offer a 50% partial store credit.

No, we are not a bar. Alcoholic beverages are only paired with our candle making workshops! While our venue ambience is heavily inspired by speakeasies, we do not sell alcohol! Some of our neighbors at UnCommons would be happy to take your order 😏
The UnCommons parking garage offers up to 2 hours of free parking, which is just enough time for our class. If parked over 2 hours, the rate is as posted.
